MICROWAVE RECIPE: TUNA SHELLS
1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. instant minced onion
1 egg
1/2 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
1 (9 1/4 oz.) can tuna, drained & flaked
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (about 4 oz.)
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
20-25 uncooked jumbo macaroni shells, cooked, drained & cooled

Mix spaghetti sauce, Italian seasoning and instant onion; pour 1/2 cup into oblong baking dish, 12" x 7 1/2' x 2". Beat egg; stir in cottage cheese, tuna, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pimiento and parsley. Fill macaroni shells with cheese mixture. Arrange filled shells on sauce in dish. Spoon remaining sauce over shells, covering shells completely.

Cover tightly and microwave on medium-high (70%) 5 minutes; turn dish one half turn. Microwave until hot, 5 to 8 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. 5 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
