NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 3/4 c. shortening 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 egg 1/2 c. water With a fork, mix together first 4 ingredients. In a separate dish, beat together remaining ingredients. Combine the 2 mixtures, stirring with a fork until all ingredients are moistened. Mold into a ball and chill 15 minutes. Keeps 3 days in refrigerator or freeze until ready to use. Makes 2 (9-inch) double crust plus 1 (9-inch) shell. |
