POOR MAN'S POP PIE 
DOUGH:

1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. or more Spry or Crisco
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour

Mix together like pie dough and use some of the meat booth for liquid. Cook short ribs or beef heart until tender. Add onions and potatoes, cut up. When done, remove meat and add dough which has been rolled out and cut up in 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces. Roll about 1/4 inch thick. Put in pan with booth and stir. Keep it boiling. Cook about 15 minutes or until dough is done.

Have plenty of booth over the meat. Use flour when cutting up dough.
