CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1/2 c. butter
2 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
6 sq. semi-sweet chocolate

Mix butter and sugar in top of double boiler, add evaporated milk and chocolate. Cook over hot water for 30 minutes. Do not stir while cooking. Remove from heat and beat. You may store in refrigerator and reheat as needed. If you wish a thinner sauce, add cream (do not add water). Makes 1 1/2 pints.
