HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
4 squares Baker's unsweetened chocolate
1 stick real butter
1 can evaporated milk
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Use a double boiler. Melt the chocolate squares and butter, stirring occasionally. Add half of the sugar and half of the evaporated milk. Blend completely. Then add the remainder of sugar and evaporated milk. Stir until sugar dissolves. Turn down the heat and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Use a funnel to pour into a 1-quart jar.
