CHERRIES JUBILEE 
1 (16 oz.) can pitted dark sweet cherries, drained
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Reserved syrup

Combine sugar, cornstarch and reserved syrup. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in cherries.

1/4 c. brandy
Vanilla ice cream

Heat brandy in saucepan. Ignite and pour cherry mixture. Stir to blend brandy into sauce. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
