CHICKEN PIQUANT 
1 broiler/fryer, cut into 6-8 pieces
3/4 c. white wine
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cooking oil
2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. chicken broth
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Place chicken pieces in Dutch oven. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Then uncover and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes more to brown and thicken sauce. Serve with rice. Serves 6.
