FRUIT COBBLER 
3/4 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fruit, sweetened

The fruit can be cherries, peaches, blackberries, apples or blueberries. Cook until tender. Melt butter in casserole dish. Mix dry ingredients together. Add milk. Pour in casserole on butter, then add fruit on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
