LEMON SAUCE (FOR CHICKEN AND
FISH)
 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 tsp. flour
1/3 c. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 clove garlic, crushed

Heat butter and garlic over low heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted. Blend in flour and continue cooking until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Use to baste chicken or fish during cooking or grilling.
