SWEET POTATO-PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 (23 oz.) can sweet potatoes

Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan, add water and boil for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add butter and pineapple to syrup mixture, pour over sweet potatoes in shallow casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
