BARBECUE BEEF SANDWICHES 
4 c. diced cooked chuck roast
1/2 c. butter
2 lg. onions, diced
1 lg. green bell pepper, diced
12 (6 oz.) bottles catsup
3 stalks celery
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Juice of 2 lemons
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Saute vegetables in butter until soft, but not browned. Add 1 cup of water and remaining ingredients except meat. Simmer 30 minutes. Add beef and simmer 15 minutes. Serve on buns.
