Have meat cubed and the fat trimmed off. 1 onion, diced (sm. to med. - according to your taste) 1/4 c. granulated sugar 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. water
Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper, dash of celery salt and Lawry's seasoned salt. Put in roaster and cook covered for 2 hours at 350 degrees. Remove lid and continue cooking for another hour. Mash meat with potato masher to absorb the juice. Return to oven for 10-15 minutes. This recipe can be doubled and also cooked the day before. Serves 20-25.
