ANNETTE'S BREAD PUDDING 
6 slices of stale bread
3 eggs, beaten until fluffy
1 can evaporated milk
1 can of water
A pinch of salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
A sprinkle of nutmeg
Raisins, optional

In a bowl pour 1 can of milk and one can of water, mix in sugar, salt, vanilla and nutmeg. Slice bread in cubes. Put beaten eggs in milk mixture, mix, put bread in and mix. Pour in 12 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean. Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
