AL'S FRENCH TOAST SANDWEDGIE 
1 lg. egg
2 slices American bread
1 slice American cheese
1 piece cold cut ham (may sub. other preferred meat)
2 tbsp. milk
Maple syrup, optional

Beat egg and milk in small bowl. Dip slices of bread in mixture be sure to coat both sides. Drop into frying pan set on medium heat with melted butter covering bottom. Cook both sides until golden brown. Put slice of American cheese on one slice of bread and ham on other slice inside of pan. Join both halves together to resemble a sandwich.

Let cook until cheese is melted, remove from pan and eat as sandwich or cover with maple syrup and eat like French toast.
