APPLE NUT COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. finely chopped apples
1 c. sour cream

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. To creamed mixture add flour, soda, salt and baking powder alternately with sour cream. Fold in chopped apples. Spread batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan or tube pan. Spread topping over (see next page). Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes (longer if using a tube pan).

TOPPING FOR APPLE NUT CAKE:

1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. melted butter

Combine.
