ULTIMATE OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
1 1/2 sticks butter 1 stick unsalted butter 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 3 c. uncooked oats (not instant) 1 c. white chocolate chips 1 c. milk chocolate chips 1/2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped 1/2 c. hazelnuts, coarsely chopped Heat oven to 350°F. Cream butters with sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir flour with baking soda, salt and spices. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats. Fold in while and milk chocolate chips and nuts. Drop my rounded tablespoons about 2-3-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Makes 4 dozen. |
