CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. cabbage
1 lb. lean hamburger
3 onions, thickly sliced
1/3 c. minute rice
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/4 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. sugar

Coarsely slice cabbage and place in large, deep, greased baking dish. Slightly brown meat and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour uncooked rice into meat mixture and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat and pour over cabbage.

In another bowl mix together tomatoes, ketchup and sugar. Pour over meat, onions and cabbage (do not stir). Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cabbage is tender. Serves 6 or 8.
