WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter (I use 1/3 c.)
3/4 c. brown sugar (I use 1/2 c.)
1 egg
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. unbleached white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1/4 c. plain yogurt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream, butter and sugar, add egg. Sift together the wheat flour and white flour, soda and salt. Combine bananas and yogurt stirring just enough to mix. Add dry ingredients alternately with banana mixture stirring well. Turn into well oiled 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove and finish cooling on rack.

Makes 1 loaf.
