FLOUR TORTILLAS 
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. warm water

1. Mix flour, salt and baking powder in large bowl.

2. Put lard in the cup of water water until the lard becomes warm.

3. Add lard and water to flour mixture and knead into a smooth dough.

4. Separate dough into 12 balls.

5. Roll each ball into 1/8 inch thickness.

6. Brown lightly on both sides using 400 degree griddle.

7. Place in a covered dish to maintain warmth and softness.
