REAL APPLE PANCAKE 
2 green apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
4 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar, mixed with 2 tbsp. cinnamon

In ovenproof skillet, saute apples in 4 tablespoons butter until soft. Mix eggs, milk and flour. Pour egg mixture over apples and bake at 500 degree oven until puffs up and browns around edges, about 10 minutes. Melt 1/4 pound butter and pour over baked pancake. Sprinkle sugar mixture over all and return to oven for 5 minutes or until sugar melts. If desired, squeeze lemon over and serve. Better with Cool Whip or ice cream.
