MOM'S BEST STRAWBERRY PIE 
4 c. fresh strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Cooked pie crust
Whipped cream

Clean and drain strawberries. Mash 2 cups of berries with sugar, cornstarch, and baking powder in a saucepan. Cook mixture about 8 minutes over low-medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and clear. Cool. Glaze is made.

Arrange 2 cups remaining strawberries in cooked pie crust. Pour cooled glaze over top of berries. Best if allowed to set in refrigerator for a few hours. Serve with whipped cream.
