CARAMEL PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. milk

Mix 3/4 cup sugar and butter in iron skillet. Brown until amber color. Mix remaining sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk; heat until warm. Then mix with amber mixture and cook until smooth and thick. Pour into baked shell and top with meringue and brown.
