SPICE - OF - LIFE CASHEWS 
2 c. raw cashews
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground allspice

In a large skillet combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring almost constantly, for 10 to 15 minutes or until nuts are toasted. Spread on baking sheet or aluminum foil to cool. Cool completely. Makes 2 cups.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In a 2 quart microwave-safe casserole place butter. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power (HIGH) for 30 to 60 seconds or until melted. Stir in cinnamon and allspice. Add cashews, stirring well to coat the nuts. Cook, uncovered, for 5 to 6 minutes or until nuts are toasted, stirring 3 times. Spread out as directed to cool. Good to have on hand at Christmas.

Per tablespoon: 55 calories, 2 g protein, 3 g carbohydrates, 5 g fat, 2 mg cholesterol, 10 mg sodium.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
