LAYER SALAD 
1 pkg. fresh spinach
2 heads iceberg lettuce
1/2 lb. bacon
6 hard cooked eggs, sliced
1 pkg. frozen peas
1 lg. red onion, sliced, separate rings
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
Salt, pepper to taste sugar

DRESSING:

1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
Dill to taste

Wash and rinse; remove stems from spinach; dry. Press spinach on bottom of large salad bowl. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar. Layer eggs atop spinach in bowl. Add layer of lettuce; sprinkle with more salt and pepper. Add layer of peas. Then another layer of lettuce. Add crisp and crumbled bacon. Add onion and Swiss cheese (shredded). Spread dressing over salad, sealing to edge of bowl. Cover with foil. Cover and chill 24 hours. Toss before serving.
