BREAD PUDDING 
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. butter
2 c. hot milk
3 c. soft bread cubes
1 1/2 c. raisins

Beat together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Add butter to milk. Pour into egg mixture. Put bread cubes and raisins in a greased baking dish 9 x 12 x 2. Pour custard mixture over bread.

Bake at 325 degrees about 40 minutes or until set. Serve warm with cinnamon sauce.

SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. fruit juice (or water)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients and heat thoroughly. Makes 8 servings. An Old Family Recipe.
