CARAMEL FROSTING 
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 lb. sifted powdered sugar

Measure butter, salt, milk and brown sugar into a small saucepan. Heat lightly, just to melt butter. Remove from heat. Mix until sugar dissolves. Add enough powdered sugar to make a good consistency for spreading.
