SAND BAKKELS 
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Mix butter, sugar and egg thoroughly. Add almond extract. Add flour, a little at a time, until mixed together well. Take small amount of dough and roll into a ball. Press with thumbs into sand bakkel tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. After cookies are done, gently drop them onto a paper towel several times until cookie falls out of tin.
