RIPE TOMATO RELISH 
12 ripe tomatoes
6 med. onions
1/2 c. water
6 green peppers
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar

Chop together tomatoes, peppers and onions. Combine vinegar, water, sugar and salt. Pour over vegetables. Cook until vegetables are soft. Pour while hot into hot sterilized jars. Seal and process 5 minutes in boiling water bath. Makes about 4 pints.
