FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. gelatin (1 env. Knox)
1/4 c. cold water
1/4 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Reserve 1 cup whole berries. Wash and drain the remainder in a colander until pretty much dry - about 1/2 hour. Then mash the berries. Add 1 cup sugar; let stand.

Soak gelatin in cold water, then add the 1/4 cup boiling water; stir well. Add to the strawberry/sugar mixture; add lemon juice. Into a baked shell put the 1 cup whole strawberries. Pour pulp mixture over this and place in refrigerator to set. Serve with fresh whipped cream.
