CHRISTMAS APPLE JELLY 
1 qt. bottled or can apple juice
5 drops red food coloring
1 pkg. (1 3/4 oz.) fruit pectin powdered
5 1/2 c. sugar

Combine juice, food coloring and pectin in large saucepan. Bring to full boil. Add sugar, stir until dissolved. Return to boil and boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat; skim. Pour into hot sterilized jars; seal. Makes 7 half pints.
