THE BEST CHOCOLATE A CHIP COOKIES | |
1 c. butter or shortening (softened) 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. milk 1 egg 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts 1 pkg. chocolate pieces (chips) Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, milk and egg until light and fluffy. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix with butter mixture. Add nuts and chips. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 5-6 dozen. |
