MACARONI SALAD 
2 c. uncooked macaroni
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped celery
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Lettuce
1 c. sm. cheese cubes
3 tbsp. chopped green onions
6 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled, or 1 (7 oz.) can salmon
3/4 c. mayonnaise
Tomatoes

Cook macaroni by package directions; drain in colander. Run cold water through to cool it. Toss together all ingredients except lettuce and tomatoes. Serve heaped on plates lined with lettuce. Stand half tomato slices, cut side down, around base of salad and stick celery-leaf feathers in it. Makes 6-9 servings.
