My mom started making this FABULOUS recipe in the 60's. She would start her Christmas baking the first week in December, She stored the fudge in a wax-paper lined coffee cans and placed it in our unheated screened porch where we would sneak pieces into our mouths. She always had to make an extra batch for her Christmas Day goodie trays. This fudge recipe is so creamy, so easy to make, and has the best taste ever! All 5 of my siblings have been making it every year since it is a much loved family favorite.

My family has been making Christmas fudge with this recipe since my Mother read it on a can of Carnation Evaporated milk in early 1950's. Delicious. Easy to serve. Grandchildren now can do for me!

I found this receipt on a carnation can in 1973 and have been using it ever since. I will make Peanut Better Fudge by substituting the chocolate chips with approximately a cup of Skippy peanut butter. I never have measured the peanut butter for I just scoop several large spoons full in. You have to be fast with putting this into the buttered pan for it hardens quickly. I highly recommend this Carnation 5 Minute Fudge to all my friends and family.
