2 c. flour
1 c. salt
2 c. water
4 tsp. cream of tartar
3 tbsp. cooking/salad oil
Food coloring - drop into water - use enough to produce bright color

Mix ingredients in pan or electric frying pan at low heat until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and they start to pull away from sides. Cool and knead. Put in ziplock baggies or Tupperware container to keep air out. Can be kept in the refrigerator for some time.
