PIZZA CRUST 
2 c. plain flour
1/4 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Shake dry ingredients in 6 quart bowl until Crisco is well blended. Add 1 package yeast softened in 3/4 cup warm water.

Cover bowl and shake until a ball forms. Turn onto floured sheet and knead 15 times with floured hands. Divide dough. Roll thin to fit 12 inch pizza pan. Prick crust before baking.

Bake 7 minutes. Spread with pizza sauce, add meat and any other desired toppings. Cover with cheese. Bake for 7 minutes.

For Angel Biscuits: Substitute 3/4 cup warm milk for water. Roll and cut for biscuits.
