1 c. packed brown sugar, sifted
1 egg white, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. salt

Add brown sugar to egg white gradually in large bowl; beat constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Place in preheated 375 degree oven. Turn off oven. Let stand in closed oven until cool. Yields 18 servings.
