MICROWAVE POTATOES 
3 med. potatoes, pared and sliced thin
3 green onions (cut up fine)
1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. half and half
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. minced parsley
2 tbsp. pimento

Put potatoes, onions, water and salt in a butter dish (covered) and cook 10 minutes on full power. Melt butter and add 1/2 cup half and half in microwave and pour over potatoes. Add Cheddar cheese, parsley and pimento. Mix lightly and thoroughly - cover and put back in microwave for 8 minutes on full power.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
