BLUSHING APPLE DESSERT 
1/3 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
6 c. sliced, peeled and cored apples
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin

TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Cream butter. Beat egg, add to butter. Add milk, salt, baking powder, sugar and flour. Mix well. Place in 7 x 11 inch pan. Arrange apple slices over dough. Sprinkle gelatin over apples.

Prepare topping. Combine flour, sugar, butter. Mix to form crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or topping. Serves 8 to 10.
