VEGETABLES AU GRATIN 
1 c. med. white sauce
4 oz. (or 1 c.) sharp process American cheese, shredded
4 c. hot-cooked or canned vegetables, drained
1/2 c. fine soft bread crumbs
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Blend white sauce and cheese; combine vegetables. Pour into 1-quart casserole. Toss crumbs with butter; sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
