TOMATO SOUP WITH ONIONS 
6 onions
6 tomatoes
3-4 potatoes
3-4 carrots
3-4 meat bones
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. curry
3-4 qt. water
1/4 glass oil
Salt

Peel onions and tomatoes; dice, bring to steam in little oil; add potatoes, cut into 1 x 1 inch cubes, the carrots cut into chunks, put all in a large deep pot. Add water, oil and salt. Cover pot and bring to boil. Add meat, bones, reduce heat to medium and cook for 2-2 1/2 hours. Add spices after 1 hour of cooking. Serves 6-8.
