SESAME CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Sesame seeds
Strawberry preserves

Cream butter and sugar. Blend in almond extract and salt. Add flour; mix well. Shape tablespoons of dough in balls; roll in sesame seeds. Place on ungreased baking sheets; flatten slightly. Indent center of each; fill with preserves. Bake at 400 degrees 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

Makes 3 dozen.
