LEMON SQUARES 
2 sticks butter, softened
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar

FILLING:

4 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Powdered sugar

For Pastry: Mix butter, flour and sugar until well blended; press into 9 x 13 inch Pyrex baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

For Filling: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour on top of pastry. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-50 minutes until golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares. Yield 24 squares.
