HARVEST BARS 
1 lg. yellow cake mix (any variety)
1/2 c. butter
1 egg

Mix these ingredients until crumbly. Hold 1 cup of this for topping.

FILLING:

Use blender or mixer, add: 2 eggs 1 lb. can solid pack pumpkin or may sub. 2 c. cooked squash 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/2 c. brown sugar

Blend well.

BAR TOPPING:

1 c. reserved cake mix
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Grease bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan, press cake mix mixture in pan. Pour filling over crust.

Topping: Combine ingredients, sprinkle evenly over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean. Tasty serving cold or warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Refrigerate bars. Excellent way to get squash into the families diet too!
