DOT'S CONGA-SQUARES 
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1 lb. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
1 sm. bag chocolate chips

Melt shortening; add sugar and mix well. Cool. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to sugar mixture and mix well. Add nuts and chips, bake in greased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut while still warm.
