GERMAN HOT POTATO SALAD 
6 med. potatoes
6 slices bacon, cut
1/2 c. onion
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. red vinegar

Cook potatoes, peel and dice. Cook bacon, drain fat and save 2 tablespoons of it. In the saved fat, add onion and cook until tender. Stir in sugar, salt, flour and pepper until well blended.

Gradually stir in red vinegar and 1/2 cup water. Cook stirring constantly till thickened. Gently stir in potatoes and bacon.
