STEAK SOUP 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 qts. water
2 c. ground steak
1 c. onions
1 c. carrots
1 c. celery
2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
1 can tomatoes
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. beef concentrate

Melt butter; whip in flour to make smooth paste. Stir in water. Saute 2 cups ground steak; drain. Add to soup. Add onions, carrots, and celery which have been cubed and parboiled. Add frozen vegetables, tomatoes, beef concentrate, and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer until vegetables are done. May be frozen.
