STEAK SOUP 
3 c. water
2 sm. chopped onions
3-4 stalks chopped celery
2-4 sliced carrots
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes (or you can use tomato juice)
1 tbsp. salt
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 lb. ground chuck, browned & drained
2-4 tbsp. beef base (gravy water or Kitchen Bouquet)
Pepper
Worcestershire sauce (a couple of shakes)
Ketchup to taste (at least 1 c.)

Simmer for at least 2-3 hours.
