STEAK SOUP 
3 c. water
2 sm. onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) tomatoes
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tbsp. monosodium glutamate
1 pkg. (10 OZ.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 lb. coursely ground beef, rump roast or chunk roast, browned and drained
2 tbsp. beef base, granules or paste

Put all ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
