BEEF STEAK SOUP 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 qts. water
1 c. ground round and
1 c. ground sirloin or lean ground beef
1 c. onion (diced)
1 c. carrots (grated)
1 c. celery (diced)
1 tbsp. Accent
1 or 2 cans beef broth, 12 oz., or use beef bouillon
1 can stewed tomatoes
1-2 tsp. sugar

Melt butter, add flour, add water and bring to boil to thicken. Add browned meat, onion, carrots, celery, beef broth, Accent, tomatoes. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Salt to taste. Use large Dutch kettle.
