ALEX'S SPICY PITA TRIANGLES 
1 Pita Pocket (9")
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. onion powder

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cut pita into triangles, then separate them at the edge. Lay flat on a cookie sheet; do not overlap. Melt butter; add spices and brush thoroughly over triangles. Spices may vary according to your taste. Cook until crispy - about 10-15 minutes. These are good with tossed salad, or topped with melted cheese of your choice, or dipped in sour cream. Yield: 16 triangles.
